MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis Black Restaurant Week is returning for the fourth year.

Preparations are underway, as Black Restaurant Week is set for March 3-9.

This year, 13 restaurants are participating, including 6 newcomers that have been open less than one year.

Featured restaurants include Bluff City Crab, Sage, The Office @ Uptown, Chef Tam’s Underground Café, Slice of Soul Pizza Lounge, The Waffle Iron, Trap Fusion, Robusto by Havana Mix, Ballhoggerz BBQ, Phillip Ashley Chocolates & Café, Big Momma’s & Granny’s, Downtown Nutrition-Memphis and A&R BBQ (East Memphis).

Over the past three years, a total of 35 restaurants were featured, bringing in a total of $575,000 in during the weekly sales and created 160 jobs.
