MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - In college hoops, with the late national signing period in full swing, Memphis Tigers Head Coach Penny Hardaway has his eye on bevy of top high school guards.

With a team that's looking to be full of freshman next season, Penny and staff want to add some experience to the group.

That's why they're diving into the Graduate Transfer Portal with an invite to former Little Rock star Rayjon Tucker.

The Tigers already got a good look at Tucker last season. He dropped 29 on Memphis Back in December at FedExForum.

The powerfully built 6'5", 210-pound guard can play either the point or the 2. He averaged more than 20ppg for the Trojans last season.

Tucker is expected to take an official visit to Memphis next weekend.

There’s just one caveat, and it’s a big one. Tucker has already declared for the NBA Draft, but he says he’s keeping his options open on returning to college.
