A South Portland man was arrested with a toy firearm after allegedly robbing a bank.
Police said they arrested Donald Sturton, 70, Wednesday afternoon.
Around 3:30 p.m., police responded to the Bank of America on Philbrook Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery.

A man came into the bank, claimed to have a firearm and made off with some cash, police said.
Though the man claimed to have a gun, one was never shown, police said.
Police located Sturton in the Maine Mall parking lot.
He was charged with robbery and taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
