TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — A person is in critical condition after police found them half submerged in Lake Lafayette.
According to the Tallahassee Police Department, at about 8:03 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 4900 Block of Heritage Park Boulevard in reference to an abandoned vehicle.
Officers later found a person half submerged in Lake Lafayette.
That person was quickly removed from the lake and CPR was conducted until EMS arrived on scene. The patient was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. At this time foul play is not suspected.
This is still an active investigation and TPD will provide updates when they are available.
