CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Charleston Fire Department and the Charleston Firefighters Association will be bringing back "Fire Ops 101."
The event is a chance for city leaders and the media to see the daily responsibilities of a firefighter.
It's basically a simulation, including wearing the gear and feeling the heat from a vehicle fire. Those taking part will learn about defibrillating a victim and more.
The department held the first Fire Ops 101 in 2018.
The second installment will be in November.
