Historic Middleton Place reopens to public

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Middleton Place is back open to the public.

The historic site had been closed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“We are confident that the robust protocols that we have put in place will insure that both staff and visitors to this extraordinary landscape will, with social distancing and common-sense actions, be a safe respite from the isolation so many people are now experiencing," explained Tracey Todd, President and CEO of the Middleton Place Foundation.

The gardens and stableyards are open along with The Middleton Place Restaurant, the garden market and nursery.

Ticket pricing has also been revised.
