CHARLESTON, SC (WCIV) — Not entirely sure which areas or counties require a face mask at retail stores and restaurants, among other places?
The South Carolina Emergency Management Division released an easy-to-read map that showcases where mask ordinances are in place and where they are not in place.
According to the map, South Carolina has 10 counties that have a mask ordinances. Most are within the Lowcountry, including Charleston, Beaufort, Colleton, Georgetown and Dorchester. Berkeley County does not have the ordinance in place.
However, 60 municipalities in the state have a mask ordinance, including Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Goose Creek, Edisto, Isle of Palms, Folly Beach, Ridgeville, Summerville, Sullivan's Island and much more.
