SUBLETTE — The town of Sublette is gearing up for a big month of activities in September.
The annual Country Car Show is Saturday, Sept. 7. Cars, trucks, motorcycles and even tractors will be lined up along Route 52 across from Vaessen Brothers Chevrolet. The show features Kaiser-Frazer, Willys-Overland, Hudson and Nash and there is a special Chevrolet area. But, all makes of collector vehicles are welcome to be on display.
Then on Sunday, Sept. 8 the annual Pullin’ in the Park tractor and truck pull will be held at Sublette Centennial Park. This is a family fun day and is expected to draw a large crowd.
“Hops and Harmony” day is Saturday, Sept. 14 at Centennial Park. This celebration includes beer tasting, concerts and a beer garden. The beer tasting will bring different beers from several micro-breweries. Music will be provided by Burn N’ Bush, DJ Joey and Johnny McGuire.
BIG TURNOUT FOR
CUP AND CAKE OPEN HOUSE
An open house was held on Aug. 17 at Local Cup and Cake to introduce the new owner, Kristy Dauck. Large crowds were on hand to welcome the new owner and her staff and to enjoy her cupcakes, muffins and coffees.
