As the 2020 NHL All-Star break comes to a close, the Arizona Coyotes have made a roster move.
The Coyotes announced Monday they have recalled goalie Adin Hill from the AHL-affiliate Tucson Roadrunners.
The move comes after fellow netminder Darcy Kuemper left the team’s final game before the All-Star break with a lower body injury. He is officially listed as week to week, leaving Antti Raanta and Hill to pick up the slack.
In nine games with Arizona this season, Hill, 23, posted a 2-2-1 record, a 2.40 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.
As a member of the Roadrunners, Hill’s gone 10-4-0, recording a 2.66 GAA and a .911 SV% in 14 games. He also notched a shutout.
The goalie joined the Coyotes organization as a third-round puck in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
The Coyotes are back in action Wednesday when they take on the Anaheim Ducks.
