ITANAGAR, Aug 5: RGU FC came from one goal behind to defeat Agam Yameng FC 3-1 in a Pool B match of the Itanagar Solung Football Tournament-2019 at the APP playground here on Monday.
Solomon Jamoh of Agam Yameng found the net in the 21st minute, only to be equalized by Kento Pertin within a minute.
Tied at 1-1 at first half, RGU FC regrouped in the second half and netted two goals in the 53rd and the 73rd minutes of the play by Surya Perme and Kento Pertin.
The second match, played between Siang United FC and Daddi Bote in Pool C, ended in a 2-2 draw.
Kaling Tatin gave Siang United an early lead, scoring in the 8th minute. However, the lead was short-lived as Daddi Bote equalized it through a goal from Sunday Litin in the 17th minute.
In the second half, Kaling scored his and the team’s second goal in the 55th minute, which was equalized by Daddi Bote in a counter attack two minutes later (2-2), informed the festival celebration committee.
