INDIANAPOLIS — The Bellarmine University track and field teams competed Saturday in the Indianapolis Collegiate Championship.
On the women's side, Bellarmine had a pair of runner-up finishes as junior
Lauren Masden placed second in the 800 and freshman
Ellie Schroeder did the same in the 3000.
Senior
Ashley Reyna-Padilla placed fifth in the 400 and eighth in the 200. Junior
Emily Wiegel collected a fifth in the 800. Freshman
Raegan Franklin tied for sixth in the pole vault.
Three Knights finished in the top 10 in the 3000. In addition to Schroeder, junior
Riley Glenn placed sixth and freshman
Emma Wells was 10th. Senior
Victoria McKenzie added a 10th in the 200 as did freshman
Katrina Kamarute in the 400.
On the men's side, junior
Guy Williams placed fourth in the high jump and senior
Benton Stone was seventh in the long jump. Sophomore
Chandler Gibson placed 10th in the mile.
Bellarmine will compete Friday and Saturday in the Don Denoon Invitational at Southern Illinois.
