1890s mill home, a ‘piece of Atlanta history,’ is packed with character for $360K

That’s the listing’s description for this charming 19th-century cottage’s setting in Whittier Mill Village, a historic community built for millworkers that hugs the Chattahoochee River, west of Midtown and Buckhead near Interstate 285.

Only half a dozen homes that predate 1900 are available across Atlanta at the moment, and most of those are pricey, elaborate spreads with Victorian roots. This is different.
