Here’s what $180K buys around Austin

This Northwest Austin condo is located near the Pennybacker Bridge on the edge of a wooded area. It has one bedroom and one bathroom in 706 square feet and features a recently renovated kitchen with new appliances and large windows the master suite has a walk-in closet and an also recently renovated bathroom. Community amenities include a pool, a fitness center, and an outdoor grill. HOA dues are $212/month.

The Greenwood Towers, located Downtown just south of the UT campus, have been around since 1966. Presumably, they’ve been renovated a few times since then, although the listing for this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo doesn’t feature a lot of interior photos. The 608-square-foot unit comes with a parking space and $386/month in HOA dues.

A single-family home in Far North Austin will get you close to this week’s price. The one-story house is convenient to I-35, Parmer Lane, and nearby employers. It has three bedrooms and one bathroom in 1,127 square feet as well as a large, fenced backyard.

The only South Austin home on our list this week, this 904-square-foot unit has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It’s located in Garrison Park, to be more specific, just south of Stassney Lane in the increasingly popular 78745 ZIP code. The corner unit has an open floor plan, laminate floors, and an in-unit washer/dryer. The $298 HOA dues include water, sewer, trash and common-area maintenance.

Located in (albeit on the edge of) another popular neighborhood—North Loop—this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo has been nicely remodeled and refreshed with wood floors, granite countertops, travertine tile, and recessed LED lighting. Sellers are also throwing in a Samsung Smart fridge with the sale. HOA dues are $138/month.
