BDA gets a new chief

The Bangalore Development Authority got a new commissioner on Wednesday with Dr HR Mahadev, an IAS officer of 2008-batch, taking charge. GC Prakash, whose tenure had come under scrutiny, has been transferred as regional commissioner of Mysuru. Dr Arundathi Chandrashekar is posted as mission director at National Health Mission and Directorate of Health, Bengaluru, in place of Ramachadran R, who is now Deputy Commissioner, Bidar.
