Karnataka COVID-19 Tracker: 143 new cases reported on Thursday; 7 from Bengaluru

Karnataka reported 143 fresh cases of coronavirus on Thursday, taking the state tally to 1605. So far, 570 people have been cured and discharged while 41 have succumbed to the virus, informed the state health department.

Out of the 143 cases, 94 have a history of inter-state travel history to Maharashtra.


Out of the 143 cases, 33 cases are reported from Mandya alone, 26 are from Udupi, and 13 from Hassan.

Bengaluru Urban saw seven new cases, out of which two patients, who have tested positive are contacts of previously infected patient (P- 1208), two more patients are contacts of previously infected patient (P- 738) and two are contacts of previously infected patient (P- 707). They all are currently under observation at a designated city hospital.
