The national sub sandwich chain, Jersey Mike's, will soon have a shop in Billings.
Jersey Mike's will open mid-September at 1020 Shlioh Crossing Blvd., in the same building as Popeyes and Five Guys, according to John Vagner, franchise owner.
An opening date has not been set.
It will be the second location in Montana for the sub shop, which also has a store in Bozeman. That store opened in 2015.
Jersey Mike’s is hiring for 25 jobs, Vagner said.
The sub shop plans to host a fundraiser for youth services organization Tumbleweed during its first five days of business, Vagner said.
The shop will distribute 10,000 coupons in town that can be redeemed for a sandwich with a minimum $2 donation during the five-day promotion.

The sandwiches will be otherwise free of cost and all donations will go to Tumbleweed, Vagner said.
A locally owned restaurant franchise on Main Street in Billings' Heights closed Thursday due to an exhaust fan fire in the restroom.
