The Billings Police Department arrested a man in connection with a casino robbery on Tuesday afternoon.
Oswald Lenzsch was arrested after allegedly robbing a casino Tuesday night, BPD Sgt. Clyde Reid said. Lenzsch is currently being held at the Yellowstone County Detention Center on one count of robbery, a felony.
Around 7:45 p.m. Tuesday night, officers responded to Sam's Place Casino at 717 16th St. W., after reports of a robbery. Lenzsch reportedly threatened an employee with a blunt object, took an undisclosed amount of money and left the casino, Reid said.
The employee was not injured in the robbery, he said.
Police located Lenzsch in a nearby residence and arrested him without further incident, Reid said.
An investigation is ongoing, and police think Lenzsch may have had an accomplice in the robbery, Reid said.
