A 20-year-old woman who appeared at a Billings hospital with a gunshot wound earlier this week died Thursday at the hospital.
The Billings Police Department is now investigating her death as a homicide, according to a social media post from BPD Lt. Brandon Wooley.
"No charges or arrests have been made," and the investigation is ongoing, Wooley stated in the post.
"Our condolences to the family," the post concludes.
The woman had arrived at a Billings hospital at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning with a gunshot wound.
By Tuesday afternoon police had announced that a person of interest, described as an 18-year-old person, had been identified.
In Thursday's statement Wooley said that all parties involved had been contacted by police.
