A Bismarck man pleaded guilty Monday to a felony charge for using a woman's debit card without her permission.
Jonathon Russell Sather, 28, was charged last month with using the woman's debit card to pay for services and goods and to transfer money to his account, according to Bismarck police. The amount totaled about $5,000.
Police said Sather obtained the woman's account information without her knowledge, and started using her account after she received her income tax refund.
Sather pleaded guilty Monday and was sentenced to 180 days in jail and three years of supervised probation. Sather also pleaded guilty Monday to theft charges and issuing a bad check in two other cases.
