A man and woman from Minot are under arrest after Burleigh County authorities say they found drugs, drug paraphernalia, a handgun and ammunition during a Friday traffic stop.
Jacie Card, 23, and Michael Webb, 59, are charged with felony intent to deliver and drug paraphernalia counts, court documents show. Card also is charged with misdemeanor weapon and drug paraphernalia violations.
They were arrested on Interstate 94 when a deputy sheriff made a traffic stop. A department drug dog raised suspicions about the vehicle the two were in, and a search revealed 9 ounces of meth, a digital scale, a loaded handgun and two extra magazines, authorities allege.
The two made their initial court appearances Friday in South Central District Court. Judge Daniel Borgen set their bail at $10,000 each. They are in the Burleigh Morton Detention Center. Court documents did not list attorneys for them.
