A Montana man has been charged in connection with a teenager's traffic death from over the weekend.
Samuel W. Hamilton, 27, of Belgrade, Mont., was charged Tuesday with felony criminal vehicular homicide.
A North Dakota Highway Patrol crash report named Hamilton as the southbound driver that failed to stop late Saturday night at the Williams County Road 21 intersection with North Dakota Highway 1804 south of Tioga.
Hamilton allegedly struck the westbound vehicle driven by 16-year-old Hayden Williams, of Williston. Williams was injured, according to the crash report, while 16-year-old Alexis Meduna, of Williston, died.
A citation in the case does not name Meduna, but contains details identical to the crash report.
Hamilton, who was uninjured in the crash, was arrested Sunday and is held at the Williams County Correctional Center in Williston, pending $1 million cash bond.

A preliminary hearing is set for May.
