The man who died Thursday in Dunn County when his pickup truck was rear-ended was identified Saturday as Robert Crawford, 40, of Kalispell, Mont.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol said Crawford was providing traffic control for a hazardous materials cleanup crew in the western North Dakota oil patch when his pickup was rear-ended by a sport utility vehicle.
The driver of the SUV was identified Saturday as Colton Netzer, 29, of Chehalis, Wash. Netzer was transported to a Dickinson hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday on state Highway 22 about 2 miles south of Manning, according to the Highway Patrol.
