A former Stewart’s Shop on Morton Avenue in Albany’s South End is being replaced by a restaurant called Shebamz Grill. The exterior has been heavily renovated, and a a Facebook page indicates it is “coming very soon.” The address is 164 Morton.

The Stewart’s shop was shuttered in fall 2018, part of a variety of closures in the South End in the past couple of years that have caused worry about the future of the neighborhood, including McDonald’s, Rite Aid and the Department of Motor Vehicles office.
