Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen opened a new location on Broadway Ave. in Boise in 2015.
Now the franchisee that owns the restaurant has applied to remodel the building for another concept: Habit Burger, according to filings with the City of Boise. The buildout is expected to cost $350,000.
Both concepts are franchised by Elite Business Enterprises out of California. The company won the right to develop 11 additional Habit Burger locations in Eastern Washington and Idaho earlier this year.
Elite also controls two Popeyes locations in Nampa.
