Homeless veterans in Boise now have a safe place to live. BoiseDev has been following this project since 2018, when the Boise City Council approved the Valor Pointe project.
The 27-unit apartment complex, located at State St. and Fargo St., is now complete.
Twenty-six of the one-bedroom, one-bathroom units are available to veterans. The remaining unit is for a VA caseworker.

In addition, the complex includes a private balcony/patio, community lounge, classroom, computer lab, onsite laundry, a fitness room and garden.
In addition to housing, veterans who are experiencing chronic homelessness will also have access to health care, mental health counseling and substance use treatment.
The project is a part Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing program. VASH is a federal program through Housing and Urban Development that gives rental assistance to qualifying veterans.
Funding also came from Our Path Home, the public-private partnership working to end homelessness in Ada County.
