The Wyoming Cowboy Hall of Fame (WCHF) announced its next class of Honorees last month, and three Teton County cowboys are proud to join the list.

At their spring meeting in May, WCHF named Rulan and Loal Jacobson and Well Beck to the hall of fame. The three cowboys were among 43 men and four women to be honored in the class of 2019.

The Cowboy Hall of Fame recognizes real Western folk across the state who uphold WCHF’s mission to “preserve, promote, perpetuation, publish and document Wyoming’s rich working cowboy and ranching history.” This year, WCHF members successfully lobbied for a bill to create an annual “Wyoming Cowboy and Cowgirl Legacy Week” the third week in September. The 2019 Hall of Fame-ers will be inducted during the first annual Legacy Week, September 22.

Members of the WCHF Class of 2019 may also be inducted at their county or regional level, prior to or following the State Induction.
