A new CEO has been appointed at Truro-based Kelsall Steele Investment Services (KSIS).

Wes Nixon brings over 20 years of professional experience in financial services, including at Legal & General, Sesame Bankhall Group and most recently Succession Wealth where he served as group compliance director and later financial planner. He is a chartered financial planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute.

KSIS was established in 1997. The business now has more than £95 million in funds under management and a team of four advisers along with paraplanners and an administrative team. Last year it was acquired by national IFA, International Wealth Planners (IWP).

Nixon said: “In joining Kelsall Steele Investment Services, I am focused on continuing to build on the exceptional local brand and team, established by Lucien (Trathen) and Chris (Blackmore), that conveys quality and a client-centered approach to financial planning. IWP has a unique approach to acquisitions and I’m excited to work with their IFAs across the UK, leveraging the infrastructure provided for KSIS to continue to grow and give clients the excellent financial planning service they expect.”

IWP CEO David Inglesfield added: “We are thrilled to welcome Wes to the IWP team. Wes comes to Kelsall Steele Investment Services with strong experience in financial services as well as a passion for understanding clients and helping them achieve their objectives. We are excited for this next phase of growth at KSIS.”
