Carson City sheriff's deputies make warrant arrests
A 27-year-old man who was about to be released from Carson City Jail custody was booked on a Lyon County warrant alleging principal to assault with a deadly weapon and injuring or tampering with a vehicle.
According to the arrest report, Jonathan Lawrence Dunn-Canas of Dayton was scheduled to be released from custody from Carson City Jail, and deputies began the release process when it was confirmed there was a warrant out of Dayton Township Justice Court for his arrest. Bail: $27,500.
— A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on a warrant for obstructing a public officer. He was already in custody for unrelated charges at the Carson City Jail when the warrant came in, out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $250.
