Carson City, Quad area COVID-19 update April 30: 2 new cases, 5 recoveries
Quad-County Emergency Operations Center in Carson City is reporting Thursday, April 30, 2020 that there are two new positive cases and five additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 92, with 46 recoveries and one death, 45 cases remain active.
The new cases are:
— A female Carson City resident in her 70’s
— A female Lyon County resident in her 20’s
Carson City Health and Human Services is working to identify close risk contacts to prevent further spread of the disease. Due to medical privacy requirements and to protect their identity, no further information about the cases will be released.
