Carson City Sheriff's Office investigates shooting, victim shot in hand, 3 suspects sought
UPDATE 5:11PM: The assailants are described as three males in their 20s. Two were wearing dark colored clothing and the other was in light colored clothing. All three suspects were described to be in hoodies and wearing face coverings.

UPDATE 2:23PM: After 8 a.m. Thursday morning, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office was notified of a patient at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center Emergency Room with a gunshot to the hand.
At arrival, deputies were informed by the victim that three unknown persons forced their way into his home at the 1500 block of Stanford Drive and shot him. The unknown assailants fled immediately, and the victim transported himself to the hospital, said Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong in a news release.
Investigators have been on scene at Stafford Drive throughout the morning processing the area. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Carson City Sheriff’s Office at 887- COPS (2677).

Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said deputies are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday morning in which a patient arrived at Carson Tahoe Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The incident happened in the 1500 block of Stanford Drive. The street has been blocked off as the investigation continues. Motorists are advised to stay out of the area.
