Carson City Fire Department called to structure fire on Koontz Lane
UPDATE 9:37PM: An investigator has been called to the scene of the structure fire Sunday night, which reportedly burned a shed and the exterior eaves of a mobile home residence, said Carson City Battalion Chief Micah Horton. The fire is out. The cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Sunday evening to a shed on fire near a residence in the area of 170 Koontz Lane in south Carson City.
Multiple 911 calls were made into dispatch at around 8 p.m. regarding a fire in a shed that had spread into nearby bushes and was close to a residence, according to dispatch.
A Carson City Fire Department battalion chief reports the exterior of the structure was on fire on arrival. Firefighters classified the fire as a "working incident" and prepared to extinguish the flames.
The cause is unknown at this time.
