Cold inversion continues in Carson City Saturday morning
A hawk was perched in a tree just off Ormsby Blvd, surveying the fields of the former Anderson Ranch and waiting for breakfast to emerge in spite of the cold air trapped by a cloud inversion that has continued to blanket the Carson City area.
Unfortunately, area residents awoke to more of the persistent cloud inversion Saturday morning, despite weather forecasts indicating high temperatures in the forties and periods of sunshine.
Some sun is still in Saturday's weather forecast reported by the National Weather Service in Reno. However, the cloud inversion must move out or burn off first before we can expect to see that big, warm yellow disc in the sky.
