Iowa Strong t-shirt and sweatshirt to raise money for local recovery efforts

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — As recovery efforts continue across Iowa, fundraising efforts are also cropping up to help those in need of assistance after Monday's derecho left a path of destruction across the state.

A Southern California-based company called The Shop Forward has launched an Iowa Strong clothing collection, with all proceeds going toward local recovery and relief efforts throughout the state.

According to the company's Instagram feed, the collection launched on August 12. Orders can be placed at TheShopForward.com/Iowa

The Shop Forward works to support programs and organizations that are working to help others around the world, according to the company website.

So far, the website shows more than $4 million dollars has been raised since November 2014.
