Meet the Makers at Monarch Wine Merchants

North Central Wine shop Monarch Wine Merchants is teaming up with their next door neighbor The Harbinger for a free wine tasting with legendary winemakers Arianna Occhipiniti, Elisabetta Foradori, Eric Texier, Silvia Messana, and Carlo Venturini. Snack on cheese from Counter Cheese Caves while sampling with some of the winemakers who have shaped how we drink from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23.

Truffles Get Their Own Weekend at Wild Common

Truffles are in the air this weekend (October 25-27) at Wild Common where chef Orlando Pagán will serve a special four-course menu featuring various black truffle infused dishes. This truffle tasting experience costs $85 per person, with a white truffle supplement available for an additional $45.

Sample Napa Valley’s Finest at Zero Restaurant + Bar

Celebrate the start of fall at Zero Restaurant + Bar’s Harvest in Napa Valley Wine Seminar on Sunday, October 27, at 12 p.m. Guests will start with a glass of Napa’s finest bubbly before learning all about the celebrated wine region while sampling Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased here.

Celebrate Slow Food at Tradesman Brewing

Slow Food Charleston, a non-profit with the core belief that food should be accessible to all, is teaming up with Tradesman Brewing Company to celebrate their 15th anniversary. This Thursday, October 24, head to the brewery from 6 to 9 p.m. for a Lowcountry boil prepared by Darling Oyster Bar. Tradesman even brewed a special amber ale for the occasion utilizing ingredients from Slow Food’s Ark of Taste catalog of foods facing extinction.
