Burglaries reported in Bridgeport: police

In each incident the person was able to break into residences and leave with property from therein, Chicago police said.

Two residences were burglarized in Sept. and Oct. 2019 in Bridgeport on the South Side.

Chicago police are warning Bridgeport residents of a pair of residential burglaries reported in September and October in the South Side neighborhood.

In each incident, the person was able to break into a residence and leave with property from therein, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

These burglaries happened about midnight Sept. 15 in the 500 block of West 36th Street and between 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Oct. 1 in the 500 block of West 31st Street, police said.
