Two robberies were reported in May in Wentworth Gardens and Bridgeport on the South Side.

Chicago police are warning residents of two robberies reported in Bridgeport and Wentworth Garden on the South Side.

In each incident someone approached victims and demanded their property or took it by force, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The robberies happened about 4:30 a.m. May 25 in the 3700 block of South Wentworth Avenue and about 6:50 p.m. May 28 in the 3800 block of West Lowe Avenue, police said.
