CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Multiple law enforcement agencies conducted what appeared to be a search for a suspect along Interstate 24 near the Montgomery County/Robertson County line Thursday afternoon.
As of 5:20 p.m. Thursday, traffic was backed up on I-24 westbound from around Exit 11 to 24, according to Clarksville dispatch. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Multiple agencies are in the area, but is unclear what the suspect is wanted for or which agency is in charge of the investigation at this time. A Tennessee Highway Patrol helicopter was spotted in the area. ClarksvilleNow.com has reached out for more information.
