The New York Giants are hoping they can see some fruits from their rebuild soon. The Giants finished the 2019 season with a 4-12 record and hired Joe Judge away from the New England Patriots to be their head coach.

To make the playoffs next year is going to be tough for the Giants, but there is no doubt this team is improving. This team has a lot of holes on their team to fill and a lot of that will come through free agency. So who should the team target? Let's breakdown three guys the Giants should try to sign during free agency.

Jack Conklin – Offensive Tackle

There could be an argument made that Jack Conklin is the best offensive tackle that is going to be available during free agency. Conklin was selected as a first-team All-Pro as a rookie in 2016. He hasn't been as strong since then, but he is still a really good player. Mike Remmers is probably going to walk this offseason and the team could try to move on from Nate Solder.

Conklin would be a big upgrade and with the offensive line being a big area of need, Conklin should be one of the biggest targets this offseason.

Connor McGovern – Center

One of the other big areas of need on the offensive line is at center. The center position has been a big area of concern since the team released Shaun O'Hara in 2011.

McGovern was a fifth-round pick by the Denver Broncos during the 2016 season and has quickly become one of the better centers in the league.

There is probably going to be a lot of competition for his services including from the Broncos but if somehow they could pry him away that would be big time. The Giants are probably going to have to pay up for him, but it's worth it.

Chris Harris – Cornerback

Janoris Jenkins is gone from the Giants and it's time the team to bring in a new veteran presence on the backend of the defense. Chris Harris might not be as good of a player as he was at one point, but he would still be an upgrade.

He would also be a good veteran presence that would make an impact in the locker room. If Harris wants a long-term contract, he should probably look somewhere else, but if he only wants a year or two, he is a great fit for the Giants.
