Early voting opens April 22 for the May 4 elections for positions on Sugar Land City Council and the Fort Bend ISD board of trustees. Voters can cast early ballots at any Fort Bend County polling location until April 30.

Local elections include races for Sugar Land City Council districts 1, 2 and 4. District 3 candidate Stewart Jackson is unopposed.
