A STUDENT who died after falling from a building at the University of Warwick Coventry campus has been named.

The university has paid tribute to Josh Hill, a second year data science student who passed away in hospital overnight on Monday, June 10.

Emergency services rushed to campus after Mr Hill fell from the university’s Mathematical Sciences Building in Gibbets Hall Road at around 11.20am on Monday.

Head of statistics professor Barbel Finkenstadt said: “The whole department is deeply saddened and distressed by the death of this lovely, gentle and kind young man. Our thoughts are with Josh’s family.”
