Wyoming Coronavirus Cases Up By 10 to 523; Recoveries up to 480

Wyoming’s confirmed coronavirus case count went up by 10 on Wednesday with new cases detected in Fremont, Laramie, Natrona and Teton counties.

The Wyoming Health Department said the state had 523 confirmed cases of the illness on Wednesday.

Eight of the 10 new cases to be reported were in Fremont County, which still has the state’s highest case count at 190.

As of Wednesday, Laramie County had 112 cases; Teton County had 68; Natrona County had 39; Campbell County had 16; Converse County had 14; Sweetwater County had 13; Sheridan County had 12; Johnson County had 11; Albany and Lincoln had eight; Uinta had seven; Carbon, Crook and Washakie had five; Goshen had four and Big Horn had two. Hot Springs, Niobrara, Park and Sublette had one case each.

Platte and Weston counties remained free of any confirmed cases.

The department also reported that the number of patients to have recovered from coronavirus grew by three on Wednesday to total 480.

The number includes recoveries among 346 patients with laboratory-confirmed cases of the illness and 134 with “probable” cases.

In addition to the state’s confirmed case count of 523, the department said there are 165 “probable” cases in Wyoming.
