Wyoming recorded only one new case of coronavirus Tuesday.
It is the lowest number of new cases seen in one day since May 22, when there were no new cases.
The Wyoming Department of Health, in its daily coronavirus update, said the lone new case was in Uinta County, which now has a total of 10 confirmed coronavirus cases seen since the virus was first detected in Wyoming in mid-March.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Fremont County had 252 cases; Laramie County had 122; Teton County had 69; Natrona had 65; Washakie had 32; Albany had 23; Sweetwater had 22; Campbell had 18; Converse and Johnson had 14; Sheridan had 12; Lincoln had 11; Uinta had 10; Carbon had nine; Hot Springs had eight, Big Horn and Crook had five; Goshen had four, and Park had two. Niobrara, Platte, Sublette and Weston counties had one case each.
The number of recoveries since the virus was first detected in Wyoming, meanwhile, went up by 25 on Tuesday to total 692, including 534 recoveries among people with laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus and 158 among those with probable cases.
The number of probable cases — ones in which patients show symptoms of coronavirus and have had contact with a person with a confirmed case but have not been tested for the virus — went up by one Tuesday to total 211.
The increase in recoveries brought the the number of active cases on Tuesday down slightly to 205, including 152 people with laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus and 53 people with probable cases.
