The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to try to locate a missing Idanha man, said Sheriff Bruce Riley, in a news release issued on Thursday afternoon.
And searchers will be out again on Friday trying to locate Corey Allan Waterman, 37, or to find clues to his whereabouts.
Waterman has not been seen since April 6, and he was reported missing on April 8.
Deputies have searched in a private timber area in Idanha where he was last seen. Search teams include the LCSO Mounted Posse, canine and ground teams and ATVs.
According to the news release, it’s possible that Waterman is not in the area and residents should call the Linn County Sheriff’s Office at 541-967-3950 if they have seen Waterman or know his location.
Waterman is described as 5-foot-7 and 175 pounds with short hair.
