The Big Eat will resume the strolling dinner party it kicked off nine years ago on June 20, starting at 6 p.m.

The venue has changed since that inaugural event, but this year (and for the last several) EatDenver’s celebration of the city’s thriving dining scene takes place under the under the glass canopy of the Galleria at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.

“With so much growth in our city and dining scene over the past few years, the Big Eat is our opportunity to come together to celebrate the collective restaurant community,” says Katie Lazor, EatDenver’s executive director.

With bites from 60 restaurants ranging from Blackbelly Market and Tavernetta to Comida and GQue Championship BBQ, sips and spirits from 15 Colorado companies, live music from Rob Tz Xperience, and a spinning deejay, the night promises to be one to remember.

Diners can que up for Ultreia’s paella cooked in a monster-size pan; Steuben’s cravable Nashville chicken and waffle cone cups; and Bistro Georgette’s legendary honey pie. Restaurants will be arranged by neighborhood. The $65 ticket price supports EatDenver’s efforts to support and strengthen the local independent restaurant community.
