Mumbai: Among key block deals on Monday, JP Morgan Funds bought shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Gujarat Pipavav and Cummins India from Flagship Indian Investment Company (Mauritius) in three separate deals on the BSE.
Of the frontline indices, Sensex rose 1.29 per cent or 465.86 points to 36,487.28, while Nifty climbed 1.47 per cent or 156.30 points to 10,763.65.
Here’s who bought and sold what in some of the key bulk and block deals of the day:
>> JP Morgan funds bought 30,34,518 shares of Gujarat Pipavav from Flagship Indian Investment Company (Mauritius) at Rs 77.85 per share.
>> JP Morgan Funds bought 11,23,162 shares of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) from Flagship Indian Investment Company (Mauritius) at Rs 2,199 per share.
>> JP Morgan Funds bought 4,10,046 shares of Cummins India from Flagship Indian Investment Company (Mauritius) at Rs 410.70 per share.
>> Agnus Holdings bought 26,80,555 shares of Sequent Scientific from Chayadeep Properties at Rs 93.05 per share. At the end of March quarter, promoter Chayadeep Properties held 2.17 per cent stake in the company, while co-promoter Agnus Holdings had a 0.52 per cent stake.
>> Proficient Merchandise bought 56,000 shares of Goblin India from Yester Investment at Rs 36.50 each.
>> Infinity Holdings bought 6,63,586 shares of Camlin Fine Sciences at Rs 56 per share.
>> Companies such as Bharat Dynamics, BHEL, JustDial, NCC and Ujjivan Financial Services also witnessed bulk deals during the day.
