    PM Modi to do 10 rallies in Rajasthan, same as Madhya Pradesh

    The PM will do his first rally in Alwar on November 25, on a day on which he will also do two rallies in Vidisha and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh to wind up his campaign there.
    NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be doing 10 rallies in Rajasthan, as many as he will do in Madhya Pradesh, in an effort to boost BJP’s chances in the state. This will be despite the PM being abroad for five days during the heat of the campaign in Rajasthan.
    Madhya Pradesh has more assembly seats, 230, than Rajasthan at 200 seats. The PM will do his first rally in Alwar on November 25, on a day on which he will also do two rallies in Vidisha and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh to wind up his campaign there.

    The very next day, the PM will return to Rajasthan to do three rallies in Bhilwara, Kota and Baneshwar Dham. Rahul Gandhi will also do three rallies in Rajasthan on November 26, as many as by the PM on the same day. Gandhi's rallies will be in Ajmer, Jalore and Jodhpur. Gandhi's full schedule for Rajasthan is still to be drawn up.

    The PM will again be in Rajasthan on November 28 to do rallies in Nagaur and Bharatpur. These poll rallies will be significant as Madhya Pradesh will be polling on the same day. The PM will be leaving for the G-20 summit in Argentina the same night after returning to Delhi. The PM will be away for next five days for the summit, returning only on December 2 night to the country.

    On December 3, the PM will again hit the campaign trail, with a massive rally in Jodhpur which is the stronghold area of Congress Chief Minister probable Ashok Gehlot. PM will be going to Telangana too on December 3 for two rallies. The PM will finally wind up his campaign in Rajasthan on the next day on December 4, by doing three rallies in Sikar, Hanumangarh and the last rally of the campaign in the state capital of Jaipur.

    “Almost all divisions of Rajasthan are being covered by the PM rallies. We expected a massive change in the mood once the PM is here,” a senior BJP functionary in the state told ET. Telangana will see at least four rallies by the PM – two on November 27 and two more on December 3 – the same number of PM rallies as there were in Chhattisgarh.
