Shah will address party workers in Mizoram, state BJP president JV Hluna told ET, while other plans for this trip are being worked out.
Shah, who visited Guwahati early this month to attend the NEDA convention, has assured that the new citizenship bill will be brought in Parliament only after consultations with stakeholders. He has said the bill will be brought in the next session of Parliament and before that the consultation process has to be concluded.
Sarma said on Tuesday discussions with stakeholders are on. “In the next one month you will see visits of important BJP leaders. Consultation is on at various levels,” he said.
