Jharkhand CM to launch supply of CNG on Friday

Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda, and Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Pradhan, are expected to be present on the occasion

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, will launch supply of compressed natural gas, domestic piped natural gas and CNG-run vehicles in Ranchi on Friday, an official of Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL) said on Thursday.

Union Minister of Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda, and Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Pradhan, are expected to be present on the occasion, the official said.

The chief minister and the Union ministers will inaugurate CNG stations at Madhuvan Vihar and Khukari.

They will also launch supply of piped natural gas to domestic consumers in Shyamali Colony in Ranchi, the Executive Director (Eastern Region) of GAIL, K B Singh, told a press conference here.
