Indore: 40 thousand Vaishnava Hindu families of Bru (Reang) tribe are forced to live as refugees in their own country. The situation is that these families are very poor as they are forced to live on the river, near the drains, on the land. To feel the same problem of the Bru tribe, 70 people from Indore had visited Mizoram and returned to Indore and shared their experiences.

Now their experiences are being conveyed through letters to the Chief Justice of the country Ranjan Gogoi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi. A letter-writing program was organized in the Punjab Arora Dynastic Dharamshala and people from Indore shared their experiences. Praveen Sharma, who returned from Mizoram, has told that the situation there is so bad that it is difficult to even live. People who were leading a happy life years ago have lost everything today.

He said that the biggest problem is that these people are not even able to reach their government and the Supreme Court. Shyam Silavat has told that his children are unable to go to school, there is no food in their homes and they are forced to live by begging. Anil Tank said that the apex court is constantly ordering the government to find a solution in this matter, but the proper demands of these people are not being taken into consideration.
