Portland Craft Beer Festival: Noon-10 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, July 4-7. A broad selection of beer, cider and wine crafted within Portland city limits will be featured at this four-day festival. Cherryfest NW: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday, July 4-7. Les Schwab Tires Red, White, and Blues 10K, 15K, Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk: 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Celebrate with a mostly downhill journey on tree-lined roads with views of the Tualatin River or Willamette River (half marathon), followed by a patriotic finish party, including live music, food, beer, wine, vendor village and hot dog eating contest. $60-$100. Molalla Buckeroo: Monday-Thursday, July 1-4. This official Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event features bareback riding and saddle bronc, barrel racing, bull riding, steer wrestling and team roping, plus two parades and a Freedom 5K race. Gates open at 5 p.m. daily for most events, with rodeo competitions starting at 8 p.m., followed by fireworks and live music each evening. St. Paul Rodeo: Tuesday-Saturday, July 2-6. Experience "The Nation's Greatest 4th of July Rodeo" in its 84th year of celebrating the American cowboy and Western lifestyle. The St. Paul Rodeo parade kicks off at 10 a.m. July Fourth, followed by a rodeo matinee at 1:30 p.m. Rodeo performances also take place at 7:30 p.m. each night. The Oregon Garden (opens 9 a.m.) celebrates Silverton Day on Wednesday, July 3. Food vendors and bars open at 4 p.m., live music plays from 6 to 11:30 p.m. and the fireworks are set for 10 p.m. Admission 9 a.m.-5 p.m.: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, $9 for students, $6 for children ages 5-11, free for children 4 and under and for Silverton residents and garden members with identification. The Hillsboro Hops, Class A short-season affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, will celebrate the holiday when they host Spokane in the opener of a three-game set at 7:05 p.m., with a fireworks extravaganza after the game.
